Professional Learning Opportunities

Professional Learning is an opportunity to reflect, apply new strategies, and continue growing as an early childhood professional. Our professional learning workshop series bring expert presenters and relevant, research-based topics to early childhood educators like you throughout Indian River County. Each workshop is designed to provide practical strategies, resources, and ideas that educators can take back to their classrooms.

  • Free to attend for Indian River County early childhood educators

  • Designed to support educators at different stages of their professional growth

  • CEUs available through FLAEYC

  • A certificate of in-service hours

  • Opportunities to connect and learn with other early childhood professionals

  • Practical resources and strategies to take back to your classroom or program

Creative, Expressive, and Relational: Developing Visual Art Experiences

  • Use art as a receptive and expressive language rather than solely as a craft activity

  • Recognize and support children's individual backgrounds, identities, and experiences through the arts
