Message from the
Executive Director
At Childcare Resources, it can be challenging to think about the past. Each of our students grows so quickly, forging ahead, well-prepared for success in kindergarten and in life.
​
This year, though, Childcare Resources celebrated our history as we marked our twenty-fifth anniversary. When I look at everything accomplished this year, it can be hard to remember that, twenty-five years ago, all of this was only an idea.
​
Through your support, that idea became a reality. As the landscape of need has changed, Childcare Resources has adapted by opening and expanding a nationally-accredited school and adding career-advancing programs for all local early childhood educators. And as we have stepped forward, you have stepped with us.
​
In the original plan for the organization, founders Sandy Kahle, Kathy Marshall, and Sherry Waddell described a model where families, childcare centers, and community stakeholders could collaborate to give each child the promise of affordable high-quality education, emphasizing that only if we all work together will this be successful.
​
Because of your generosity, Childcare Resources is, today, more than successful. You empower tomorrow by supporting programs that build resiliency, elevate education, and create community.
