Childcare Resources of Indian River was thrilled to welcome Sophie Bentham-Wood, Executive Director of Global Marketing at Triton Submarines, for a special visit with students in the Chrysanthemums classroom.

Childcare Resources joined thousands of early childhood programs nationwide to celebrate Week of the Young Child, a national initiative by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Indian River County families can now apply for the 2025-2026 school year at Childcare Resources.

For nearly six years, Childcare Resources of Indian River has been proud to collaborate with Shining Light Garden, a local nonprofit.

The Childcare Resources School recently held a graduation ceremony for the 2024 class of program students.

Throughout the evening, parents and students explored different classrooms, participating in collaborative project stations.

First launched in 1985, NAEYC accreditation is a widely-recognized indicator of a high-quality early learning program.

Childcare Resources is currently accepting applications for enrollment of three- and four-year-old children for the 2023-2024 school year.

“Tonight is about celebrating the successes of the past year, but also about looking forward,” said Jennifer Peshke.

Week of the Young Child recognizes that a child’s earliest years build a foundation for later successes.

Childcare Resources is hosting monthly meetings for parents and caregivers who want to learn more about Conscious Discipline implementation.

The Childcare Resources School recently celebrated the graduating class of 2022 with a celebration on the front lawn of the school.

Gifts overflowed throughout the Childcare Resources office as local businesses and organizations joined together.

For students at the NAEYC-accredited Childcare Resources School, Week of the Young Child was full of activity, exploration, and education.
